What's new in Octolift. Updates roll out automatically: there is nothing to install, and your scores, questions and history carry over.

  1. Latest

    Analyze your whole catalog at once

    • NewBulk analysis. Press Analyze products and choose Select products, Select collections or All products to analyze up to 1,000 products in one run, in the background. The dialog shows how many your plan has room for before anything starts, and a card on Home and Products follows the progress.
    • ImprovedA product's page now opens on its last analysis, with the date it was taken, for as long as the product is unchanged. Reanalyze takes a fresh one.
    • ImprovedAsking a question on the AI rankings page now adds it to your list straight away. Plans count questions, and on a paid plan each one can be checked again once a week.

  2. ChatGPT, Gemini and the Knowledge base

    • NewAI rankings asks ChatGPT and Gemini the questions in your list, next to the live Shopify catalog search, and shows whether each one recommended your product.
    • NewA new verdict, Mentioned you, recommended others, for answers that name your store but pick someone else, and a Competing brands list of who is recommended instead.
    • NewCheck weekly checks every question in your list again once a week on a paid plan.
    • NewKnowledge base. See what AI assistants answer about your store itself, and draft the missing answers from your own policies.
    • NewGenerate questions writes the questions shoppers are likely to ask about a product, in the main language of the country you check.
    • NewThe Activity page lists the last 30 days of scans, changes, generated questions and rank moves.
    • NewSettings lists the store policies Shopify requires for selling through AI agents, and the addresses Octolift's emails go to.
    • ImprovedA product now counts against your plan once, the first time you analyze it. Every later scan, suggestion and change to it is included.

  3. Octolift launches on the Shopify App Store

    • NewAn AI visibility score from 0 to 100 for each product, with a score breakdown across Listing quality and Agent readiness.
    • NewHow you appear in the Shopify catalog shows what Shopify's AI catalog has picked up from your listing.
    • NewImprove with AI writes a new description, title ideas, a category and category field values from your own facts, saved only when you press Save.
    • NewEvery change you apply is recorded with its previous value, and title and description changes can be undone for 30 days.
